Alice Lee is a fourth-year doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology program at the University of Maryland, College Park. Through this program, Alice will expand her knowledge and clinical skillset in providing evidence-based trauma-informed interventions.

As a bicultural clinician, Alice is passionate about collaborating with clients to better understand how our intersecting sociocultural identities uniquely shape our lives, trauma, and other ongoing challenges. Her approach to therapy integrates multicultural and feminist theories through a strength-based and interpersonal lens.

Prior to TREC DC, Alice completed her externship at university counseling centers focusing on the mental health of BIPOC and other marginalized populations. She has also worked in research labs including the Asian Women’s Action for Resilience and Empowerment Lab at Boston University and the Social Justice Lab at the University of Maryland.
